Started modelling: In the late 1950's with diesel control line.
Types Flown: Have flown helicopters, ducted fans, sport pylon, electric gliders , general sport aircraft, entry level aerobatics, float flying with both fixed wing and helicopters.
Special interests: My main interest at present is helicopters.
Achievements: Won the Clubman Territory title in Alice Springs in 1998. Second place in 7 cell Electric 1999 Territory titles . Heli Gold Wings. Contest Director for NT titles 2006, 2007. Webmaster for EPAC website.
Current Flying models: Vario Kobold, Vario Evolution S, Vario Jet Ranger and a Hirobo Shuttle. Fixed wing include an old Telemaster, Panic biplane, Swift, Green Air and Simbat electric gliders, Zap400 Electric Heli. Imagine pattern plane. Trex 450. Latest additions are 2 Raptor 50SE heli's and a Hurrican 50 size heli.
Models under construction: 1/5 scale Tiger Moth, Funkey pattern plane, Bell Huey UH-1D Vario scale heli, Impala sports aerobatic . All long term projects ! :-)
Have flown in my home state of Western Australia, Nhulunbuy, Queensland, Alice Springs, Katherine and Darwin. . Took up flying Helicopters under the tutorship of Roman Lorenz in December 1998. I have been President of Aeromodellers Northern Territory since 1996.
